Fly By Radio started the way most great bands do -- a group of musicians who loved playing live and refused to settle for anything less than a great show. What began as a passion project became one of Alabama's most in-demand live entertainment acts.
We're a female-fronted, five-piece rock and roll band based in Alabama. We play rock, pop, country, Motown, and soul -- covering five decades of the songs people actually know and love. Our setlist has over 200 songs in it, and we've spent 21 years learning how to read a room and match the energy to the moment.
We're not playing background music at your event. We're the reason people remember it.
Every show we play, we arrive with our full professional PA system and stage lighting -- fully self-contained. Your venue doesn't have to provide a thing. We handle setup, soundcheck, and teardown so you can focus on your guests.
We've performed at weddings, corporate galas, private parties, fundraisers, festivals, and everything in between -- across Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, North Carolina, and beyond.

Every member of Fly By Radio is a full-time professional musician. We're not a rotating cast of session players -- we're a band.
Darby brings powerhouse vocals, nonstop energy, and a magnetic stage presence to every Fly By Radio show. Whether she’s leading a singalong anthem or a dance-floor favorite, she knows how to keep the crowd engaged all night long.
Peters delivers smooth vocals, crowd interaction, and the kind of personality that keeps audiences entertained from the first song to the encore. His versatility helps make every show feel unique and high energy.
Dale combines killer guitar work with dynamic vocals to help drive the signature Fly By Radio sound. His experience and musicianship bring both precision and personality to the stage.
[Wes lays down the groove on bass while helping bring the fun, personality, and showmanship Fly By Radio is known for. A longtime member of the band, he’s equally at home locking in the rhythm section or entertaining the crowd.
[Tim keeps the engine running with hard-hitting drums and relentless energy behind the kit. His powerful playing style helps fuel the nonstop momentum of every performance.

For wedding performances, we bring in a professional keyboardist who adds depth, warmth, and a fuller sound to our set -- ideal for first dances, slower moments, and songs that call for keys.
We maintain a roster of highly qualified keyboardists across the Southeast and select the right player based on your event location. Ask us about availability when you book.
Add a brass punch to your event with our optional horn section -- trumpet, saxophone, trombone, or a full horn line. This is one of our most popular add-ons and takes the energy of any performance to another level.
