Fly By Radio is a female-fronted rock and roll band based in Alabama, and we've spent over two decades making that happen at weddings, receptions, and private events across the Southeast. With a setlist spanning more than 200 songs — from Etta James and Sweet Home Alabama to Uptown Funk and Chappell Roan — we read the room, match the energy, and keep your guests dancing all night long.
Whether you're planning an elegant ballroom reception in Birmingham, a Gulf Coast celebration in Pensacola, or a backyard barn wedding in Mississippi, we bring the sound, the lights, and the performance that turns a great night into an unforgettable one.

Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should we book Fly By Radio?
We recommend booking 6–12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (April–June and September–November). That said, we do take last-minute bookings when our calendar allows — reach out and we'll let you know our availability.
Can we request specific songs?
Absolutely. We'll ask you for your must-play list, your first dance song, and any do-not-play requests before your event. We have 200+ songs in our catalog, and for very special requests we're happy to discuss learning a song just for your wedding.
Do you provide your own sound system and lighting?
Yes. We are fully self-contained. We bring professional PA equipment and stage lighting to every event. Your venue need only supply a stage and power. We handle setup before the event and teardown after.
How long do you perform?
Our standard packages include 4 continuous hours with short breaks in between. Total performance time and the number of sets is something we discuss during booking based on your event timeline and needs.
Do you provide music during cocktail hour or dinner?
Yes — we can discuss background music options for cocktail hour and dinner, either as a scaled-down acoustic performance or through a curated prerecorded playlist. Ask us about this when you inquire.
What areas do you serve?
We're based in Alabama and regularly perform throughout the Southeast — Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, Louisiana, and North Carolina. We're available nationally for the right event.
Have you performed at our venue before?
We've performed at venues across the Southeast. Reach out and ask — there's a good chance we've played there before or we're already familiar with it.
